Zeke received his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s School of Law in 2018. While at St. Mary’s Zeke was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi honors society and served as a Solicitations Editor for the Scholar Law Review. During law school, Zeke worked with the Scholar Law Review to coordinate pro bono legal services for low income clients in support of the Scholar’s mission to “give a voice to the voiceless.” In his final year of law school, Zeke was awarded the Henry B. Gonzalez award by the St. Mary’s School of Law Hispanic Law Alumni Association.
Zeke Perez represents businesses, fiduciaries, and individuals in bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters. He has represented large and small business in disputes involving contract and fiduciary disputes, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. Zeke has appeared in both federal and state courts and he is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, United States District Court for the Western District, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas. During law school, Zeke served as an Intern for the Honorable Rebeca C. Martinez of the Fourth Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Muller Smeberg, Zeke served as a manager of a national retail business for nearly a decade. Zeke’s background in business and business management makes him uniquely suited to understand his clients and their goals.
